Tricubes launches WorkSmart Intelligent Building solution for client

KUALA LUMPUR, 21 January 2022 – Espousing its client’s business expansion plan into providing Smart City solutions, Tricubes Bhd launched its WorkSmart Intelligent Building solution.

The fully integrated software application allows its client – one of Malaysia’s largest telecommunications companies – as well as its visitors, to be able to access facilities management seamlessly.

“As a part of their new office building set up, the client plans to use their office facilities as a showcase for the new smart city apps while allowing their staff to experience higher productivity by using these apps,” said Tricubes Chief Executive Officer, Ahmad Azhar Kamarulzaman.

He adds, WorkSmart fills the void for a solution to supplies for both visitors and facilities managers a task that could prove to be tedious using traditional methods.

As an example, reserving a meeting room and car park lots for external visitors could prove to be a laborious process. Should a visitor request a meeting with the client, the client would need to submit for a meeting room booking request manually. Upon arrival at the premise, the visitor will be required to park their car at their own arrangement, register at the lobby, and proceed through security checks before being able to access the assigned meeting room.

Using WorkSmart, all a visitor would need is a QR code. Tricubes’ solution consists of a web-portal and a mobile application which helps the staff book available meeting rooms, and send the generated QR code to the visitor or visitors. Scan the code at the parking area to access the assigned parking bay.

WorkSmart is designed to guide them to the bays. Once parked, the visitor/s head straight to the main lobby and are only required to scan the QR code to pass through security and follow the digital signage that will display the meeting room location.

Tricubes WorkSmart communicates with the backend system of a telecommunication company that handles all integration matters with smart building technologies. These include safety and security, parking management, digital signage content management system, building automation, energy monitoring, workforce management, and smart lighting.
